Ingredient Analysis
CANINE CARNIVORE specializes in the “foundation” of your pet’s diet...MEAT.
Because there are inconclusive studies on what constitutes the optimum balanced
diet for canines, we intentionally do not add other “extras” i.e., minerals, vitamins
or supplements so you can customize and maintain complete control over your pet’s
dietary requirements.

Health Benefits of Canine Carnivore Raw Meats
- BEEF - is a nutrient dense food and a quality source of protein B group vitamins
including B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12, as well as the essential minerals, iron and high
zinc content.
- Vitamin B12 is only found naturally in animal foods, with beef and lamb among
the richest sources of this essential nutrient.
- Vitamin B2 is required for red blood cell formation and respiration and antibody
production.
- BEEF LIVER and BEEF KIDNEY - Rich in Vitamin B1 (Thiamine), A and D.
- Thiamine plays a key role in the body's metabolic cycle for generating energy;
aids in the digestion of carbohydrates; essential for the normal functioning of
the nervous system, muscles & heart; stabilizes the appetite; promotes growth &
good muscle tone.
- Vitamin A, also called retinol, mostly comes from animal foods. It helps eyes
adjust to light changes and helps keep eyes, and mucous membranes moist. It also
has antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals in the body that cause
tissue and cellular damage.
- Vitamin D is important in helping the body absorb and use calcium from food. It
aids in bone and tooth formation and supports muscle and nerve function.
- GROUND BEEF BONE - A significant source of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, associated
with joint health.
- LAMB - Lamb has a high nutritional value and is an especially good source of zinc
and iron. Unsaturated fat, which is good for canines, makes up for half the fat
in lamb. Lamb is rich in B vitamins, especially B12. Lamb is also nature's best
source for an amino acid called carnitine, which is needed to generate energy from
fatty acids. Trace elements such as copper, manganese, and selenium are also found
in this meat, and it contains a rich supply of high quality protein.
- CHICKEN (including necks, backs and carcass) - Chicken is extremely dense in nutrients,
including protein, zinc, iron, phosphorous, riboflavin, thiamin and niacin. As in
all raw meat, chicken contains live enzymes which help in the digestive process.
- CHICKEN GIZZARDS & LIVERS (Gizzards are secondary stomachs used by birds to grind
their food before digestion) - Rich in vitamins A, C, D, E and K and minerals such
as iron and potassium.
- TURKEY - Turkey is a very good source of the trace mineral, selenium as well as
niacin, vitamin B6 and B12 and rich in zinc critical for healthy immune system and
healthy cell division.
- VEAL - Veal is often compared to beef but is lighter in color and finer in texture
with a firm, fine and velvety appearance. Veal usually comes from a (male) dairy
calf reaching 18-20 weeks of age. Formula-Fed (or “milk-fed”) veal comes from dairy
calves that are raised on a nutritionally complete milk formula supplement. Veal
is an excellent source of protein, and a good source of niacin, zinc, and vitamins
B-12 and B-6 that help to increase energy. Veal is low in fat compared to other
animal-protein sources.
